About Origami
Origami Audio is a small group of musicians and audio professionals specialized in custom music composition and sound design for film. We also offer a wide range of audio services including location sound mixing, ADR, dialog editing,voice over recording, mixing and broadcast mastering. Our work is currently being featured on networks such as ABC, FOX, CBS, MTV, E!, Spice and Playboy T.V., on shows such as "Dancing with the Stars", "Access Hollywood", and "The Jersey Shore", and is currently being broadcast in over 34 countries from Japan to Bulgaria. We are a small, employee owned operation which keeps our overhead low and allows us the ability to deliver a high quality product for much less than our competitors. We work with clients big and small and are able to propell your project to the next level even on the tightest budgets. Our facility is located at Ideaman Studios which is a full service production hub and botique advertizing agency located in the design district of Dallas,TX. Ideaman studios houses Editors, Colorists, Animators, Directors, and Producers; as well as having two 1,700 sq. ft. sound stages for filming, recording, ADR, and foley
Meet the team
The Composers, Sound Designers, Engineers and Creative Directors we have on staff are alumni from some of the most prestigious colleges for music in the US including: The Berklee College of Music in Boston,MA and The University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. In fact, our senior composer Michael Palma is now a professor at The University of North Texas teaching jazz improvisation and jazz piano. Our Creative Director and Senior Sound Designer Quinn Brown, has been working the local industry in Dallas for over ten years with countless commercials and films under his belt. We would like to extend a warm welcome to our newest composer Noah Jackson. Noah's music has recently been featured in GQ magazine and he comes with some major street-cred. We also have a freelance network of Composers from around the country that work for us to ensure every idea our clients imagine is able to be executed under extreme time and budget restrictions.3
